Coca-Cola Cambodia | Engineering a Sustainable Future
Agency: QED
Role: Director & Producer
Year: 2016

The Challenge
Coca-Cola aimed to document a landmark achievement: the installation of the largest rooftop solar power system in Southeast Asia at the time. The challenge was to condense months of high-stakes engineering into a compelling visual narrative that emphasized the brand's commitment to the environment without losing the viewer's interest in the technical details.
The Engineering Solution
To capture the sheer scale of the transformation, I moved beyond standard videography and implemented a long-term visual monitoring strategy:
Months-Long Timelapses:
I engineered a multi-camera setup designed to withstand the Cambodian climate (high heat and humidity) for several months. These cameras were positioned to capture the synchronized installation of thousands of solar panels across the massive factory roof.
Strategic PR Storytelling:
Beyond the construction, I produced PR segments that humanized the factory’s technical achievements, focusing on the local impact and the company’s vision for a carbon-neutral footprint in the region.

The results
Visual Documentation: Delivered a high-impact PR video that effectively communicated Coca-Cola's sustainability leadership to stakeholders and the public.
The "Wow" Factor: The compressed months of footage into seconds of high-speed progress provided a powerful visual "proof of work" for their environmental claims.
Lasting Asset: The content served as a primary asset for regional sustainability reports and global CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives.
