TATZU, Neo Kimono
Agency: 14 stops
Role: Director & Producer
Year: 2026

Project Brief
TATZU breathes new life into vintage Japanese history by deconstructing ancient silk kimonos and re-engineering them into modern urban streetwear. The goal was to visualize the "Neo Samurai" spirit—honoring the past while disrupting the present.
Technical Challenges
Macro Precision: I utilized ultra-close-up cinematography and extreme slow motion to highlight the incredible craftsmanship. This allowed the audience to see the microscopic detail of the vintage silk fibers and the precision of the modern restyling.
Sonic Synchronicity: To balance the slow, fluid visuals, I layered a powerful, high-energy beat. This audio-visual contrast perfectly encapsulated the "Neo Samurai" vibe—the calm of tradition meeting the aggressive pulse of the city.

The results
A high-impact, cinematic commercial that successfully positioned TATZU as a premium, craft-focused label. The film didn't just show clothes; it engineered an atmosphere of "modern heritage," making the brand's unique recycling process feel both luxurious and rebellious.
